Knoff Yoga Association
The Nicky Knoff Yoga Association Inc. has been set up for all certificated teachers trained by Nicky Knoff. Members of the Association and holders of a valid teaching certificate are eligible to apply for discounted Combined Public & Products Liability insurance through OAMPS Insurance Brokers Ltd.
The Nicky Knoff Yoga Association has a common due date of the 1st September for both it's members and their insurance policies. This means that each new policy that comes to OAMPS from Knoff Yoga, must expire on that common due date. All Knoff Yoga Association memberships and insurance policies will fall due on the 1st September.
In order to apply for OAMPS insurance, you must be a member of the Nicky Knoff Yoga Association Inc. The joining fee is AUD $95 and the renewal fee is $55.
OAMPS have recently concluded a major re-negotiation of the terms and conditions and as a result they are delighted to advise that the following improvements have been agreed with the Insurers:
1: All policies will now automatically provide $10 million Public Liability cover. Lesser limits will still be available for Products Liability including Professional Risks.
2: Cover will be available under the members policy for Locum Tenens up to 90 days per annum. This is subject to the Locum being properly qualified and not otherwise insured.
3: There will be NO EXCESS, other than for claims in respect of Property in the Care, Custody or Control of the member (eg. damage to leased premises).
4: Products Liability including Professional Risks is now available up to $10 million - previously the maximum limit was $5 million.
The premium for $10 million Limit of Indemity is now $312.
Remember to apply to OAMPS for insurance you must be a member of the Nicky Knoff Yoga Association Inc. To join, please complete the online Application Form. The initial joining fee is AUD $95 and the annual renewal fee is $55.
To apply to OAMPS for insurance you will need to know your Nicky Knoff Yoga membership number and your membership type - which is 'Teaching'.

Knoff Yoga Certificated Teachers - please note that the Foundation Level Teaching Certificate is valid for 3 years from the date of issue. All higher level certificates are valid for 5 years.
In order to renew your certificate you have 4 options:
1: Send in photos of you performing the Asanas syllabus of your certificate. Renewal fee $100
2: Do a private class with either Nicky Knoff or James Bryan to view your practice. Renewal fee $100
3: Participate part-time in a Teacher Training Course so Nicky Knoff can see your current level of practice. Fee based on hours attending.
4: Upgrade to a higher level certificate through Knoff Yoga Teacher Training.
