This Course follows on from Level 7 – Intermediate and is based on the same balanced format, but with a new and more challenging syllabus. Over 4 weeks you will receive training in 78 asanas, extensive pranayama, breath focused meditation, and yoga philosophy, anatomy and teaching methodology. You will receive a Level 8 – Advanced Asana and Pranayama Manual and your Teaching Certificate (providing you graduate).
This level of practice and study requires a teacher of great experience in order for you to learn the intricacies and subtleties of higher practice. If your car wheels are out of alignment – at slow speed you merely wear out your tyres faster, but at higher speeds it can be life threatening. You need to know what you are doing, and in this Course you will gain both practice and teaching knowledge in a safe environment.
Level 8 – Advanced and Level 9 – Master, are not registered with any governing body (Yoga Alliance or Yoga Australia) simply because there is not a high enough standard to recognize them.
Pre-requisite: Level 1 – Discovery, Level 3 – Foundation, and Level 7 – Intermediate.
